If your event flops, we refund your pass in full. Email us within 7 days of purchase. No forms, no interrogation. Unlimited subscriptions renew automatically until canceled and can be canceled anytime, online in about 30 seconds at playthinkfast.com/manage or by emailing us, and stay active through the period you've paid for. Your first month is covered by the same 7-day refund promise.

Buying a pass gives you the right to run Think Fast games at your tier's player limit during its window (72 hours from first use for Event Passes; while your subscription is active for Unlimited). Passes are for your event, so share the code with your co-organizers, not the internet. We may cancel abusive use (resale, scraping, attacking the service) and will refund unused passes when we do.
The service is provided as-is; if something breaks mid-event on our side, tell us and we'll make it right with a refund or a fresh pass. Our total liability is capped at what you paid us. Play nice: you're responsible for the content of custom topics and chat in rooms you host.
Short version: the game doesn't track you, buyers give us one email at checkout, the Google and Meta tags on our marketing pages stay off in countries that require your consent until you say yes, and anyone anywhere can switch ad targeting off at Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
No accounts, no emails collected. Player names, answers, chat, and scores are stored with the game room itself and are not deleted automatically. Nothing about a finished room is reachable afterwards: there is no page that lists or searches past rooms, and a room that has ended accepts no new players. If you want a specific room's contents erased, email us and we will do it by hand. We keep anonymous, aggregate question ratings and flags to improve the question bank, never tied to a person. When a game finishes we also keep one line of counts about that game: the category and difficulty picked in the lobby, the timer, how many people played, how many questions were reached, how many answers were right, and the fastest correct answer in milliseconds. That line is how we tell whether the questions are pitched right and what we publish when we write about the game. It holds no names, no answers, no chat, no scores for any individual, and no room code, so there is nothing in it to connect back to you or to the room you played in, and nothing that can be undone to recover one. The game screens load no third-party trackers, ever. The things saved on your own device are the ones that make the game work: your name, avatar, theme, sound preference, player id, the current room code, any pass code you have redeemed, and any quiz you have written in the quiz builder.
Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe; we never see your card number. We store the email you give Stripe plus your pass details (tier, when it was used, an uploaded logo and event recap if you're on Pro) so we can find your purchase, honor refunds, and run your events. That's processing under our contract with you. After your first event we send one follow-up email ever, on legitimate interest as an existing customer; it carries an unsubscribe link, and replying "no thanks" works just as well.
When you use a custom AI category, the topic text you type is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate questions and is not used to train models. Don't put confidential information in a topic.
Questions you write yourself in the quiz builder are different: they stay in your own browser and are never sent to us at all, until you start a game with them. At that point they are stored with that room like any other question. They are never sent to the AI provider and never added to our public question bank.
Marketing pages (this site, not the game) load one Google tag that feeds two Google services. Google Ads measures which ads bring in customers, and does remarketing, which means Google can show our ads again to people who have already visited this site. Google Analytics 4 runs through that same tag and measures how people move through the pages: which ones they land on, where they go next, and where they give up. It has a setting called enhanced measurement switched on, which means it also records scrolls, clicks that leave the site, site searches, video plays and file downloads. A third tag, the Meta pixel, covers advertising on Facebook and Instagram: it measures which of those ads lead to a purchase, and it lets Meta show our ads again to people who have already visited this site. Those three are the only advertising or analytics services on these pages today. If we add another, this section names it and lists its cookies before its tag goes live.
We also keep our own record of where a visit came from, but only when there is one to keep.
If you arrive from one of our ads or from a link we tagged, the address bar carries an ad click
id (for example gclid from Google or fbclid from Meta) or campaign tags
starting with utm_. We store those, plus which page you landed on, in this browser
under tf_attrib for 90 days, after which it is deleted. If you then buy something we
attach them to that purchase record at Stripe. That is how we tell which ads actually pay for
themselves. If you arrive with none of those tags, nothing is stored at all, and
we do not record the site you came from. It is written only when advertising is allowed here, so
if you chose "Essentials only", used the opt-out below, or your browser sends Global Privacy
Control, nothing is stored and your purchase carries no campaign origin.
When you complete a purchase we report that sale to Google Ads and to Meta so the ad that led to it can be credited. Meta gets the report from our server as well as from your browser, because browser reports are frequently blocked; both carry the same purchase id so it counts once. The report includes your email address, name and billing city, state, postal code and country, all hashed (scrambled one way so they cannot be read back) before they are sent. Stripe already collected all of it to take your payment and charge the right tax. This happens only when advertising is allowed here, on the same terms as the paragraph above.
In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland all of it is disabled until you accept in the cookie banner, and "Essentials only" keeps it off with the pages working exactly the same. Elsewhere it is on by default and you can switch the advertising half of it off at any time using the opt-out in the next section.

Think Fast | Remembers your cookie choice and your ad-targeting opt-out. Browser storage, never sent to us | Until you clear this site's data |
tf_attrib |
Think Fast | Browser storage holding the ad click id or campaign tags you arrived with, and the page you landed on, so a purchase can be matched to the ad that led to it. Not written at all if you arrived without any of those tags. Written only when advertising is allowed here, and sent to us only if you buy something | 90 days, then deleted |
You can change your cookie choice on this device anytime:
We have never sold your personal information for money and we do not. California law (and similar laws in other states) still counts using advertising cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising as sharing, and gives you the right to switch that off. The button below does it for real.
Pressing it sets Google's advertising signals (ad_storage,
ad_user_data, ad_personalization) to denied on every page of this site,
and it stops the Meta pixel from loading at all, so remarketing and ad targeting
end on both. It stays off until you turn it back on here. The
setting lives in this browser's own storage, so it covers this browser on this device and is
cleared if you clear site data. There are no accounts here, so we have no way to carry the
choice across your other devices for you. It also stops us recording where your visit came from
and stops us reporting any purchase you make to Google or Meta. Google Analytics measurement of
how many people visit which page keeps running, because that is not advertising and it is not a
sale or share of your information. If you want that off too, choose "Essentials only" in the
cookie choices button above, which switches off everything including analytics.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we honor it as an opt-out on its own, with
nothing for you to click.

You can also email support@playthinkfast.com and we will apply the same thing to any records we hold, and tell you what we hold. An authorized agent can send that request for you. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Stripe (payments), Google (site analytics, ad measurement and remarketing, only as consented above), Meta (ad measurement and remarketing for Facebook and Instagram, only as consented above), Cloudflare (hosting, game infrastructure, and sending our email), and Anthropic (AI question generation, topic text only). Each processes data under their standard data-processing terms, including EU-approved safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers. Think Fast is operated from the United States.
Game rooms: kept after the event, with no automatic deletion today, and erased by hand on request. Buyer email, logo, and recap: until you ask us to erase them (transaction records that tax and accounting rules make us keep are retained without your marketing data). Security logs (rate-limit counters) hold IP addresses for about a day, cleared the next time that address trips the limit. Question ratings are anonymous and kept indefinitely. The one-line count we keep about each finished game is anonymous too, and is deleted after three years.
If you're in the EEA, UK, or anywhere with similar laws (GDPR, UK GDPR, and friends), you can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or erased, get it in a portable format, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent (the cookie button above does that instantly). Email support@playthinkfast.com. We verify it's really you and answer within 30 days, usually much faster. Erasure is real: your email, logo, and recap are deleted from our systems, not just flagged. If you're unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to your local data-protection authority. We don't sell personal data for money and make no automated decisions about anyone. If you're in California or another state with a "do not sell or share" right, the advertising opt-out above is the control the law entitles you to, and using it never changes the price you pay or the product you get.
