How much does Think Fast cost?
Free for up to 8 players. $99 one-time for an event up to 50 players, $199 one-time for up to 250 with your company's branding. If you run trivia regularly, Unlimited is $59/month or $490/year. There are no per-person fees at any tier, so the price on the card is the price of the event.
How does this compare to hosted team building vendors?
Different product shape, so compare the shape before the dollars. Hosted vendors send a professional host and run the event for you: Sporcle publishes $499 for up to 60 people and $799 for up to 250, and TriviaHub publishes $249 per virtual event. Think Fast is self-run software, so nobody from Think Fast attends, and you press play. That is the trade. Is there a free version?
Yes, and it isn't a trial. Up to 8 players on the stock question categories, no sign-up, no time limit. What the paid passes add is a bigger room, AI-written rounds about your own company, big-screen mode, and your logo on the screen.
Is the Event Pass a subscription?
No. The $99 and $199 passes are one-time payments for a single event, with a 72-hour window that starts the first time you use the pass. Only Unlimited is a subscription, and you can cancel it online in about 20 seconds.
Does anyone need to install an app?
No. You host from a browser; players join from whatever phone is already in their pocket using a four-letter code or a QR code. Nobody installs anything and nobody makes an account.
What's the refund policy?
Unconditional for 7 days. If the team didn't enjoy it, email support@playthinkfast.com and you get your money back. No forms, no questions.
How do I use my pass after checkout?
You get a pass code (like TF-K7M2-Q9XW) on the confirmation page. Tap "Start your event," or enter it under 🎟 Have an Event Pass? when hosting a game. Your 72-hour window starts the first time you use it. Buy today, run Thursday.
Can I buy it for someone else (I'm the EA)?
Yes, just forward them the pass code. Whoever enters the code hosts the event.
What if more people show up than my pass covers?
The room simply caps at your tier's limit. If your 50-person event turns into 80, email us and we'll upgrade you to Pro for the difference.
How do I cancel Unlimited?
Go to playthinkfast.com/manage, enter your pass code, and you're in your Stripe billing portal: cancel, change cards, download invoices. Your plan stays active through the period you've paid for. Prefer email? One click and we confirm same-day.
