2. Type your topic

Anything specific enough to have facts: a decade, a franchise, a sports league, your own company. The AI over-generates and then validates, so questions that don't hold up never make the round.

3. Everyone joins

Share the QR code or the link. Players open it on their phone, pick an avatar, and land in the lobby. Nobody installs anything.

4. Play it live

Reasonable questions

How long does the AI take to write a round?
Usually about 20 seconds. It writes a few more questions than it needs and drops any that come back malformed, unanswerable as typed text, or duplicated. It does not fact-check them, so give the finished round a read before you play it.
What topics work best?
Anything with hard facts attached: a decade of music, a film franchise, a sport, a scientific field, a country, or your own company's year. Topics that are purely matters of opinion work badly, because there is no correct answer to type.
Can it write questions about my company?
Yes. Type your company or team as the topic and you get a round about it. It only knows what is publicly findable, so a well-known company gives a rich round and a small private one gives a thin one. For the things no outsider could know, the office move, the microwave incident, write those questions yourself in the quiz builder.
Is the trivia maker free?
The game is free for up to 8 players using the 6,500+ ready-made questions across 25 categories. AI-written custom topics are part of the paid Event Passes, which start at $99 one-time for up to 50 players.
Do players need an app or an account?
Neither. They open a link in whatever phone browser they already have. No install, no sign-up, no email.
What if the AI gets a question wrong?
The host can override any ruling mid-game: mark an answer correct, or nudge someone's score. Live trivia needs a judge and the host is it.
